Antonio Muñoz De Mesa. Born in Madrid (Spain) in 1972.
Actor, filmmaker, playwright, screenwriter and director with a 30-year multi-disciplinary career in film, television and theatre. Co-founder of production company ManodeSanto. Lead presenter of flagship cinema programming for Canal+ Spain over fourteen years (1998–2011), including MagaCine, Hazte un Cine and La Noche de los Óscar. Author and director of the 2021 Premios MAX Awards Ceremony, broadcast on TVE La 2. Academic Coordinator and Professor of Screenwriting at MADS (Madrid Audiovisual Drama School).
Photography has been a constant thread throughout his creative practice. Studied at Blank Paper School in Madrid with Fosi Vegue. Workshops with Alec Soth, Paulo Nozolino, Alfonso Moral, Roger Ballen, Michael Ackerman, Anders Petersen, Rinko Kawauchi and Moisés Samán.
